I'm still writing for the next installment of the fanfic, but I was feeling a little bored (which is not a good state for me to write in) so I went through this Character Meme to get over it. It actually turned out to be really enlightening for me on a couple of these guys.
I might try to find something like this for the villain type characters from this series. Some of those old Mary Sues could really use it.
-Take up to eight OCs as they come to mind
-Have them answer the questions.
-Honestly!
-I tag YOU!
My OCs:-Vean

First off, describe your clothing style in one word.Vean: Useful?
Siri: Green!
Yoru: Uh…I don't know.
Kafei: Farmer.
Kuro: Simple.
Layka: Normal!
Lumen: Regal.
Lynnea: Modest?
Do you use any makeup?Vean: No, I live on the ocean. I'm lucky to get in a bath once a week.
Layka:
Have you no pride, man?
Lumen: What an unseemly thing to say!
Vean: It's not like I smell or anything…
Siri: You do tend to get a little fishy smelling.
Vean: Don't help, Siri.
Siri: What is makeup anyway? Like soap?
Layka: It's like a paint for your face, dear. It's supposed to enhance your good features.
Siri: Eh?
Yoru: My sister's obsessed with makeup…
Kafei: No one in my family wears that stuff. We're far too practical for face paints.
Kuro: I've worn it before.
Kafei: What?! But you're a guy!
Kuro: And?
Kafei: Well, I guess…No! That's weird!
Lumen: There is nothing "weird" about it! I too wear makeup all the time.
Lynnea: I've never worn it.
What's your best feature?Vean: Um…my blond hair?
Siri: Is this another makeup question?
Vean: Not really. It's just asking what you like about yourself.
Siri: Oh! Well then I like that I'm really fast and agile!
Lumen: They're asking about your appearance, girl! I swear that you commoners know nothing about anything!
Layka: Lumen, calm down. Such behavior is not becoming.
Lumne: Oh, so you consider yourself a lady now?
Vean: Knock it off you two!
Lumen: You dare to raise your voice at me?!
Layka: Lumen! Sit down!
Lumen: (Grumbling)
…
Lynnea: So the question was about your best feature, right?
Vean: Yeah.
Lynnea: I would say mine are my wings. Yoru?
Yoru:
I don't know...Kafei: Mine would have to be my smile!
Kuro: I don't really have any good features. I'm pale as a ghost and my hair is black.
Siri: Is that why you wear makeup?
Kuro: No…
Layka: I suppose my eyes are my best feature.
Lumen: I could never just pick one. My features are all perfectly wonderful.
So is there anything you'd change about your body?Vean: I would change the fact that I have the exact same face as Link.
Siri: You two don't look that much alike.
Vean: Thanks, Siri, but you're wrong.
Siri: You do look alike, but not "exactly alike!" Right guys?
…
Yoru: I've never met Link.
Kafei: Me either.
Siri: (Sigh) Well if you ever did meet him, you'd see that they're not that much alike.
Layka: Why don't you answer the question now, Siri?
Siri: Oh right. I'd want to be taller.
Yoru: …I'd want… Never mind…
Kafei: I want shorter hair! Romani won't let me cut it.
Kuro: I'd go down to the beach and get a tan.
Layka: I wish my hair was darker.
Lumen: Ha! Are you envious of me, dear sister?
Layka: You make it impossible to envy you, Lumen.
Lumen: What's that supposed to mean?
Lynnea: I wouldn't change anything about myself.
Lumen: Really? You look quite strange to me.
Layka: Lumen!
Lynnea: It's alright, Layka. Some people have no other way to feel good about themselves.
Lumen:
Ever had problems with your looks?Vean: I believe I went over this in the last question.
Siri: No, never! Why are there so many questions about how we look?! Who cares?!
Yoru: I don't.
Siri: Ya see? Thank you, Yoru!
Yoru:
Kafei: No, but if I did, I'd wear my Keaton mask all the time.
Kuro: You don't have any idea just how cliché that sounds.
Kafei: How is it cliché?
Kuro: Never mind. I guess my looks have something to do with my problems.
Layka: I've never had any problems with mine.
Lumen: My good looks could never do me harm.
Lynnea: Mine have never been a problem either.
Ever exploited them?Lumen: What kind of a question is that?! Do you know who it is you're addressing?!
Layka: And that's Lumen's answer!
Lumen: But I'm not finished yet!
Layka: Vean?
Vean: No, I'd never even thought about it before.
Siri: How do you even "exploit" them?
Vean: You bat your eyelashes and smile until people give in to what you want.
Siri: Oh, I've never done that.
Vean:
That wasn't an example…you do it all the time…Siri: Eh?
Kafei: I've never used my looks like that either.
Yoru:
Kuro: I couldn't, even if I wanted to.
Layka: I…may have done something of the sort…once.
Lynnea: I don't believe I've ever done so.
Okay, so you're wearing a T-shirt, what's on it? (Everyone is magically granted a T-shirt and the futuristic knowledge just for this question!)
Vean: It's blank.
Siri: Mine has Hello Kitty on it!
Yoru: It's for the band Evanescence.
Siri: That's kinda creepy looking.
Yoru:
Kafei: "Let the Hater be you Motivators!"
Kuro: A big spider.
Layka: Mine has a frog on it and says "Be hoppy."
Lumen: Mine is a designer brand.
Layka: Yes, we could all tell by the giant "PS-AERO-NY" logo across it.
Lumen: Don't be jealous, sister dear.
Lynnea: Mine is simply decorated with flowers.
How old are you?Vean: About 12-years-old.
Siri: Our best guess is that I'm 9.
Layka: "About?" "Best guess?" You mean that you don't know for sure?
Vean: I know, give or take a year.
Siri: It never came up before I met Vean and he asked about how old I was.
Kuro: Don't you have birthdays?
Siri: I don't know what mine is.
Vean: Mine's June 20th, I just lose track of---Oh wait! Link was wearing the traditional green clothes of the hero this summer, right? Yeah, I'm definitely 12.
…
Kafei: Well, now I'll always remember, because I'm 12, too. If you're ever in doubt again, just ask me, okay?
Vean: Heh, thanks, Kafei.
Yoru: I'm 10-years-old.
Kuro: I'm 22.
Layka: I…I'm turning 12 in December.
Lumen: I am 10 years of age, though I'm told I'm wise beyond my years!
Lynnea: I don't think my people measure time the way you do.
Vean: We measure it by the cycle of the seasons.
Lynnea: Oh! Well, that's a very small unit. Um…I supposed that would make me over 1000-years-old.
Vean: WHAT?!
Lynnea:
What is your earliest memory?Vean: I do have this one memory from when I was a baby. Someone, I think it was Link, was crying, and then I started crying. Someone picked up Link and then someone else picked me up. It might have been our parents.
Siri: Aw, how cute!
Layka: I can't believe that you have memories from so long ago.
Vean: I've always wondered why I remembered just that.
Siri: My turn! Um… Ooh! I remember when Skull Kid showed me the tree house where I used to live! He had to teach me not to crawl out the door so I wouldn't fall.
Yoru: My earliest memory is of my---of someone calling me "Young Prince."
Lumen: You?! A common wretch in rags: a prince?!
Yoru: No! It was a mistake!
Lumen: I'll say it was.
Layka:
Lumen:
Layka: Sorry about him, Yoru.
Yoru:
Kafei: My earliest memory is of my Mom and Dad singing me to sleep.
Kuro: I remember meeting Kurai. Anything before that is a blur.
Vean and Siri: Kurai?!
Kuro: Yeah…
Vean: As in the evil sorceress Kurai?
Kuro: Evil Sorceress?! No! Kurai wasn't anything of the sort!
Siri: I think we're thinking of a different Kurai, Vean.
Kuro: Without a doubt!
Vean: Sorry…
Layka: I believe that my earliest memory is of Lumen being born.
Lynnea: I remember following the Picori through the woods.
Vean: What's a Picori?
Lynnea: The Minish.
Vean:
What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?Vean: Most important? Uh...
Siri: He defeated Kurai!
Vean: Well…
Kuro: You what?!
Siri: Not the same Kurai, remember?
Vean: Sure. I guess that counts.
Siri: When I made my first slingshot! I made one for Vean, too! Do you still have it Vean?
Vean: Yes, I still have it.
Yoru: R-r-runing away from home…
Kafei: Getting the tomatoes to grow in the gardens!
Kuro: Heh, way to go, Kafei.
Kafei:
Lynnea: Kuro?
Kuro: Yeah?
Lynnea: What is the most important event in your life?
Kuro: …
…
Layka: Well, the most important event in my life would probably be when my father entrusted me with the Tsuki Star.
Lumen:
Those Stars are mine by rite…Lynnea: For me, it was the day I met the Spirit Maiden.
When and with whom was your first kiss?Vean: I haven't had my first kiss yet.
Siri: What's a kiss?
Vean: You don't know?
Siri: No! Tell me what it is!
Layka: It's something like this, Siri. (Grabs Lumen and kisses him on the cheek.
)
Luman: Gah! What is wrong with you!
Siri: Oh, like when a Boko Baba tries to eat you.
Vean:
Yoru: I haven't been kissed yet.
Kafei: Me neither! Girls are gross!
Yoru: Yeah.
Siri:
Kuro: I was 8-years-old and it was just a dare. I don't remember the girl that well.
Layka: I haven't… There are… I've never been kissed either.
Lumen: I have yet to choose my princess. Only royalty is worthy enough to touch these lips.
Lynnea: I don't remember. It was extraordinarily long ago.
Do you love anyone? If so, how would you confess it to them, if you haven't done so already?Vean: There are plenty of people that I care about. But how are you supposed to show it other than…caring about them?
Siri: Yeah, I love Vean, Skull Kid, and all my friends!
Yoru: I…I…I don't love anybody really…
Kafei: I work hard to help take care of the people I love.
Kuro: I've never been in love. Silly childhood crushes are all that's ever plagued me.
Layka: Romantic love is something I won't have to worry about until I'm a bit older.
Lumen: Yes, arranged marriages are so romantic.
Lynnea: I have sworn not to marry, so confessing my love wouldn't be very fair.
What are your views on sex? (All characters under the age of 13 are disqualified from this question.)
Kuro: Shouldn't the children have been disqualified from the question about "love" as well?
Lynnea: Sex is the beautiful act of bringing new life into the world.
Kuro: Yes, it's completely natural. I don't see what "views" we could possibly have on it.
Lynnea: It is nice to see that there is a still innocence in your heart at least.
Kuro: Ha, innocent? Me?
In your opinion, what is the most evil thing someone could do?Vean: When someone just…doesn't care about hurting other people anymore. I don't care why they do it.
Siri: The most evil thing someone could do is try to kill someone else!
Yoru: Or actually
succeed in killing someone who can't fight back.
Layka: What villains have you three run across?!
Vean: Three words: Oracle of Darkness.
Kuro:
Kafei: In my experience, the worst thing you can do is despair.
Kuro: No, despair is just a feeling. Destroying someone's innocence is a horrible act of evil.
Layka: Despair is more than a feeling. It is the abandonment of hope. Hope is a gift and to throw away a gift like that is wrong.
Lumen: A gift denied to its rightful owner is worse.
Lynnea: You're all right. These are all horrible sins, but they all spring from godlessness.
